and no worries! should you discover there are items you need or need to replace there are a vareity of excellent thrift stores scattered about! Oh I am so jealous. I look forward to reading about your journey.
I am glad to see you remembered to pack laxatives! I am pretty sure that any "Problems" you would have would get cleared up when you stop in India for lunch! Anyhoo... I am proud of my little Cookies! Have fun going to the bathroom all around the world.
PS Let me know what country have the best "facilities".
i would take rolaids with you...you never know when something might not sit well with you!
Couple quick things (btw, I have been really glad that the only REI in Tennessee is located about 5-15 minutes from where I live, depending on whether it's my pre- or post-Africa house I'm talking about)...I didn't see hand sanitizer on your list, and I'd definitely recommend having that. I don't use it much in the States, but it's super-handy (no pun intended!) when traveling. You could probably buy a small bottle to start and replenish or refill it while you travel; you can probably buy it in many of the places you'll be. You might think about including Benadryl or something similar in case of any surprise allergic reactions. And I was glad I had a good rain jacket with me, though you might be okay if you have clothing that will dry pretty quickly. Oh, and one other thing that came in handy if you're in more rugged places is baby wipes/hand wipes. I found them to be a surprisingly good alternative when there wasn't a good option for bathing.
don't plan on using your personal water bottle in China! (buy bottled, don't let restaurants put ice in any drinks, don't eat salad as well, unless you want to get some bugs from the water...)
Where else are you going in Asia? (I know someone in Japan...)
ah I see the map... I know someone who at last contact lived in Kobe... she might have moved, though...
